HTC Incredible S already shipping in UK

Were you planning to pre-order HTC Incredible S? You don’t need to, as mobiles.co.uk has already started shipping the device. First orders will reach consumers as early as tomorrow. HTC is loading Android 2.2 aka FroYO initially, but Incredible S will get Gingerbread soon.

Incredible S is available with two network operators — O2 and Vodafone, with handset prices starting from free with contract. Smartphone comes with its 4-inch screen. Spec-wise, the Incredible S is almost identical in all important regards to the Desire HD, boasting a 1 GHz processor, 768 MB of RAM, and an 8 MP camera with dual-LED flash. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo right now, with an update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread being promised for the future.
