Samsung to launch Android tab with 8.9 inch display

Samsung is reportedly working on another Android tablet with a display size of 8.9 inch. Although the company has announced a vague timeframe of 1H 2011 for launch, Korean media is expecting a release as early as next month.

The 8.9-inch tablet will be released in the global market through mobile operators, a company spokesman told to Yonhap News agency, without disclosing further details or launching dates. The expected specifications include Dual Core processor with Android 3.0.
