In a little chat with Inside Network’s Kim-Mai Cutler, Android’s Eric Chu today said that In-App payments were scheduled for last quarter launch but delayed due to low feedback from busy developers and will arrive soon as Google is very focused on helping developers monetize their apps.
He also stated that the upcoming changes will be available on majority of Android devices, so no version hiccups here. Chu did not give any specific date but said it is coming this quarter.
Google will be providing several in-app payment modes including carrier billing. So, get ready to earn some money from your Android app.
