IRS launches IRS2GO Android app

You might not get tax refunds on Android phones, but at least you will now be able to check the status of these reimbursements. The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) today introduced IRS2GO app for Android smartphones. This will enable taxpayers to check the status of their tax refunds and other tax related information.
As technology evolves and younger taxpayers get their information in new ways, we will keep innovating to make it easy for all taxpayers to access helpful information,” said IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman.
IRS2Go is available for free download in Android Market.
