Motorola today became the first manufacturer to launch a Dual Sim Android smartphone in India. Dubbed as Milestone XT800, it is actually a renamed Motorola Glam aka XT800.

Company has priced it a hefty Rs 31,999, which surely won’t attract many buyers. Milestone XT800 features a 3.7 inch touch display, 5-megapixel camera and expandable memory up to 32GB with dual SIM [CDMA+GSM] support.

“We have specially designed the Milestone XT800 to provide infotainment-on-the-go for consumers who want a device that matches the demands of a hectic lifestyle like that of a senior professional,” Motorola Mobility India Country Head Faisal Siddiqui said.

XT800 was first launched in China back in 2010, and even got a successor in the form of XT800+ in the country.

Update: Milestone XT800 will come with Android 2.1 on-board, and there is no word on FroYo update right now.
