Android is not slowing; Over 300,000 devices activated each day

When Google recently launched Android 2.3, and did not mention the updated device activation count, there was a lot of talk about a possible decline in the Android growth rate. But today, Andy Rubin, Android boss tweeted that over 300,000 Android devices are being activated each day and put a full stop on all these rumours.

The number is just phenomenal. At this pace, Android will outnumber every other OS in the coming days or months… :P.
