Gingerbread now on Samsung Galaxy S

Advertisements

Samsung might have taken months to put FroYo on Galaxy S, and still has not update all of them, but devs  over XDA Developers were fast enough to make it the second Android smartphone to get a Android 2.3 port after Nexus One.

It is very early build of Gingerbread, so don’t get your hopes high.  Below is the list of features that does not work in the current build.

  • GPS
  • Voice
  • Wifi
  • Some Buttons
  • Camera
