LinkedIn Android app now available

LinkedIn has finally launched its Android application for public use. Available right now in public beta, it brings the basic of your professional networking on your Android device.

The Linkedin for Android app lets you do the following things right now:

  • View updates from your professional network
  • Search for people to discover things you have in common and establish new connections
  • Respond to invitations sent from people in your professional life
  • Keep in touch with your own connections on LinkedIn

LinkedIn is promising more updates soon.  As it’s a beta app, it is not available in Android Market. Please visit http://m.linkedin.com/android from your Android phone for installation instructions and a link to the application.
