Motorola Droid 2 explodes during call

Droid Does a lot of things but we did not know that it explodes too. According to a customer, his Verizon Droid 2 smartphone exploded while he was trying to make a call.

He was injured in explosion and got four stitches. The person wants compensation from Motorola and is planning to take legal action.

Motorola has issued the following statement in this regard:

“Motorola’s priority is, and always has been the safety of our customers, and all Motorola products are designed, manufactured and tested to meet or exceed international and local standards for consumer safety. We will reach out to the consumer and investigate this thoroughly.”

While the reason of the explosion is still unknown, battery does not seem to be the culprit this time, and phone is still functioning. Check out the videos and images below.
