While some old high end phones are still waiting Android 2.2 updates, several entry level smartphones are flooding the market with Froyo on-board. In the same series, Acer is also planning to add an Android 2.2 powered entry level smartphone E140 to its beTouch series.
According to Androidworld.it, Acer beTouch E140 is expected to hit Italy around Christmas for €199 [about $264].
Acer beTouch will have 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA / HSUPA, Wi-Fi, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, 3.2MP camera, and a 600MHz processor.
