Google CEO shows off Nexus S; drops Gingerbread details

Yesterday at the Web 2.0 summit, when some people were expecting Gingerbread launch, Google CEO Eric Schmidt did not disappoint fully.

Although there was no Gingerbread launch, but a lot of things came up this version of Android. Schmidt said Gingerbread would be out in the “next few weeks,” and it will have NFC support.

He also showed off the next Nexus device, which has been talked all around us – Nexus S, though he never called it by this name, but certainly he did not deny that fact too.

We are expecting the Nexus S launch along with the Gingerbread release, so the wait continues.

There are the some pictures of Nexus S, which Eric Schmidt brought along with him to tease us at Web 2.0 summit.
