Verizon launches LG Vortex for $80

Verizon today announced the release of its latest entry-level Android 2.2 smartphone – LG Vortex. Verizon has priced it at $79.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

LG Vortex will be available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at http://www.verizonwireless.com from Nov. 18.

The specifications include a 3.2 inch capacitive (320 x 240) touchscreen display, 600MHz processor, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, 170MB internal storage, microSD card slot and a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash and video recording.
