Verizon Motorola Citrus available from tomorrow for $50

Verizon just announced that Motorola Citrus will be available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at http://www.verizonwireless.com tomorrow for $49.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Motorola Citrus is powered by Android™ 2.1, and comes with Bing Search and Bing Maps. It features BACKTRACK, 524MHz MSM7525 processor and 3-inch touchscreen.

Trivia: CITRUS phone housing is made from 25 percent post-consumer recycled plastic, is CarbonFree® Certified through an alliance with Carbonfund.org, and is PVC and BFR free.  The packaging is made from 80 percent post-consumer recycled paper, and the user manual is made using 100 percent recycled paper and soy-based ink.
