Creative today announced series of Android powered devices, which will be available from end-December. The announced devices include two ZiiO Pure Wireless Entertainment Tablets and a handheld media player called the Zen Touch 2 Wireless Entertainment Device.
ZiiO Pure Wireless Entertainment Tablet: This tablet will arrive in two versions of 7 inch and 10 inch display with screen resolutions of 800 x 480 pixels and 1024 x 600 pixels, respectively. These tablets run on Android 2.1, and will have Creative own app store. They have been priced at S$359 [7 inch for 8 GB], and S$429 [10 inch for 8GB]. They will have 16 GB version also.
Zen Touch 2 Wireless Entertainment Device: This Android 2.1 powered portable media player comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Creative X-Fi technology, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera and microSD card slot in 8GB and 16GB capacities. This has been priced at S$279 for 8GB and S$319 for 16 GB.
Availability: These tablet and media player will be available from the Creative online store from December-end and at stores from January 2011.
