Nokia 5.4 may launch in December, details tipped

HMD Global is reportedly moving faster than usual in unveiling a successor to its Nokia 5.3 phone. The Nokia brand licensee is said to be getting ready to launch the Nokia 5.4 before the end of this year if no unforeseen issues crop up, reports NokiaPowerUser (NPU). The blog claims that Nokia 5.4 would feature a roughly 6.4-inch screen with hole-punch design.

Other rumoured details about the upcoming Nokia phone include at least 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage. The phone is said to be offered in Blue and Purple colour options. That is about all we seem to know about this upcoming phone right now. Considering NPU is claiming a launch before the end of 2020, we won’t have to wait for very long to know everything about the phone. While the phone may be introduced by the end of 2020, its India debut may take a longer.

Nokia 5.3 will reportedly be succeed by Nokia 5.4

NPU has a hit-and-miss record with such leaks. So, take the rumoured Nokia 5.4 launch with a pinch of salt.

As mentioned, Nokia 5.4 will succeed the company’s Nokia 5.3 phone that was introduced in March this year. Nokia 5.3 comes with features like a 6.5-inch HD+ screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, and 4,000mAh battery. The phone also packs a quad rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, up to 6GB of RAM,  and 64GB of onboard storage.

According to NPU, Nokia 7.3 5G will make its debut alongside the Nokia 5.4. The phone is rumoured to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 SoC and feature full-HD+ 90Hz screen, 4,000mAh battery, USB Type-C port, up to 8GB of RAM, and a hole-punch design on the front.

Meanwhile, HMD Global recently launched its Nokia 2.4 phone in India. It is priced at Rs. 10,399 and will start shipping on December 4.
