Vu Technologies on Tuesday launched three 4K Smart TV models in the Indian market. Powered by Google’s Android TV platform, the Vu 4K TVs will be offered in 43-inch, 49-inch and 55-inch display sizes. All three models include the same specifications apart from the screen size.

It is a result of research and development that was undertaken for over a year followed by numerous hours of testing. We are excited to redefine and re-invent a user’s experience by introducing a pioneering and revolutionary product that combines quality picture and sound with certified and high-end technology,” said Devita Saraf, CEO and Founder, Vu Technologies, in a statement.
Being official Android TV models, the Vu 4K TVs will have access to Google Play Store and thousands of supported applications, including streaming services like Netflix and Hotstar. The TVs also come with built-in support for Chromecast.
According to Vu, the new 4K TV models feature an IPS display panel with 3480x2160p resolution and quad-core SoC. The TVs also include two USB ports, three HDMI ports, ethernet ports, and AV input. In addition, the smart TVs come bundled with a voice remote.
Pricing and availability
The Vu Android TV models will go on sale beginning March 14 via Flipkart.com, Vu stores as well as other major brick and mortar stores in the country. The 43-inch model has been priced at INR 36,999, the 49-inch model at INR 46,999 and the 55-inch model at INR 55,999.
These Vu TVs will be competing with the Xiaomi, Sony and Samsung smart TVs in the country.
