Honor 7X gets Face Unlock support via software update

Honor 7XAfter adding Face Unlock feature to Honor View 10 and Honor 9 Lite, Huawei’s e-brand Honor is now bringing the same feature to Honor 7X phone. The company has started rolling out a new software update for the 7X, which includes the Face Unlock support.

The update will reach all Honor 7X units in India by mid-March, the company noted.

“Honor in line with its commitment to introduce meaningful innovation, has constantly introduced smart consumer centric products and features. Honor 7X is already an unbeatable smartphone and with Face Unlock feature, it will emerge as one of the best budget smartphones in the Indian market,” said P Sanjeev, Vice-President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group, in a statement.

Originally launched in India in February, the Honor 7x is offered in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. The 32GB version carries a price-tag of INR 12,999, whereas the 64GB version is available at INR 15,999.

In related news, Honor has also announced a no-cost EMI offer for the Honor 7x in the country. As a part of this offer, the consumers will be able to purchase the 7X without paying extra charges on easy monthly installments at Amazon India.
