Update (October 31, 2017): Thanks to US telecom operator T-Mobile, HTC’s upcoming U11 Life has been revealed in full. As you might have read online, Taiwanese manufacture HTC is hosting a press event on November 2 in Taipei, where the company is expected to unveil two new Android phones – U11+ and U11 Life. Now, the U11 Life is expected to be released in two versions as well – one with Sense UI and other with Android One experience. T-Mobile on Monday accidentally published pretty much everything about the Sense version of the U11 Life on its support website. The listings were quickly taken down, but not before they were already leaked in the wild. You can still access the cached version of the listing.
As per the T-Mobile website, the HTC U11 Life will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor. It will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with Sense UI and support the Edge Sense feature. The phone will also have integrated Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Additionally, the company has included 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot in the phone. For the imaging needs, there is going to be 16MP sensors on both front and back of the HTC U11 Life. There will also be a 2600 mAh battery without the wireless charging support. Among other features, the smartphone will pack HD voice support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB Type-C port. The company has also included IP67 water and dust resistance in the phone as well as bundled HTC USonic earbuds.
The T-Mobile listing doesn’t have the display size or resolution, but the previous leaks suggest the presence of a 5.2-inch full HD screen in the phone.
There is no word on the pricing or exact availability of the HTC U11 Life or which markets will get the Android One version and which will have the Sense UI variant. However, we do know that at least T-Mobile will launch the Sense UI version of the phone in the US.
We hope to get more details on the November 2 launch event. (via AP)
