After Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017), Samsung India has now begun rolling out the Android Nougat update for Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone. The new firmware upgrades phone’s operating system from Android 6.0.1 to Android 7.0.
According to a report in SamMobile, the Nougat update is over 1.2 gigabytes in size and is available over-the-air (OTA). The A9 Pro users will automatically receive the OTA notification on their device, however if you don’t get a notification or you don’t want to wait for it, head over to settings > about phone > update to manually check for the update.
The system changes are pretty much the same as other A-series devices. You can expect to see improved system performance, new Game Launcher app and better implementation of multi-window after the update. In addition, it will bring enhanced notification shade & quick settings as well as new user experience and more.
