Lenovo has released the over-the-air Android 5.0 update for the Vibe X2 smartphone in the Indian market. Over 1.1GB in size, the update brings the usual Lollipop tweaks as well as Vibe UI improvements to the smartphone.
Lenovo Vibe X2 is the fifth smartphone from the company to get Lollipop update. As per the Update Matrix on the company website, Lenovo has already released the Android 5.0 for Vibe Z2 Pro, Vibe Z2, S90-A, S60-A smartphones.
The official change-log of the X2 Lollipop is not available but you can expect to see performance enhancements, improved notifications, smart lock, UI tweaks, ART as default runtime and more.
To manually check for the OTA update, go to settings > about phone > system updates. If you have already applied the Lollipop update on your Vibe X2, do let us know about the experience in the comments section.

I was really excited to get the update. Once the update was done, phone’s camera isn’t working, I am unable to hear anything in the calls and the LED doesn’t turn on when charging.
I tried a few other camera apps, but it seems they are unable to connect to the hardware. This is just dismal and sad ;(
