Microsoft has confirmed today that it is bringing Cortana to Android. According to the company, this smart personal assistant will go live in Google Play in the end of June.
Although the Cortana Android app will act as a companion app for the PC version, the company noted that it will be able to do most of things that Cortana can do on PC or Windows phone.
“You can have Cortana remind you to pick up milk the next time you’re at the grocery store, and then your phone will wake up and buzz with the reminder. You’ll be able to track a flight using Cortana on both your phone and your PC, and get the updates on the device that you’re on so you don’t miss anything,” wrote the company in a blog post.
Cortana will remain in sync across devices and will help you in completing tasks you begin on your PC wherever you are, on your phone.
