Intex, Videocon launch new budget Android phones

Intex Cloud M5 IIIndian smartphone vendors Intex and Videocon have introduced new budget Android smartphones in the country. Powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, the new Intex Cloud M5 II and Videocon Z45 Nova+ will go on sale in the coming days. Read on for details on the new launches.

Intex Cloud M5 II

According to Intex, the Cloud M5 II is exclusive to e-retailer Flipkart and will be offered in two colour variants. The smartphone sports a 5-inch FWVGA display and comes with 1.2GHz quad-core processor, dual-SIM support, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front shooter and 8GB of expandable storage. It has been priced at INR 4,799.

“The Cloud M5 II is yet another innovation of ours, towards improvising our offerings such that the aspirations of our consumers are reached. We believe in providing our customers with products that fit perfectly in the bracket of their needs and their pocket. This new product will be a package of the right design, colors and features at the right price,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head, Mobiles, Intex Technologies.

Videocon Z45 Nova+

Videocon Z45 Nova PlusVideocon’s new smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It also comes with 5MP rear camera, 2MP secondary shooter, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM support, 8GB of expandable storage, and 1800 mAh battery.  The phone carries a price-tag of INR 4,900.

  1. I am officially impressed with Intex’s “innovation”. Innovating a new mobile even week with same old 2014 specs. See, even the OS is from 2014. What an innovation !!!
