Samsung Galaxy Tab ASamsung Galaxy Tab A to go on sale in US starting May 1

Samsung has announced that it will begin the sales of the new Galaxy Tab A in the United States beginning May 1. The tablet will be offered in two display sizes – 8-inch and 9.7-inches. The Galaxy Tab A slates are now available for pre-order at the company website.

Tab A will be available in White, Smoky Titanium, and Smoky Blue colours and will retail starting $229.99 (8-inch) and $299.99 (9.7-inch).

To remind you, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A devices come with Android 5.0, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. They are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor and include 1024x768p displays.

Sony reveals pricing & pre-order details for new Android TV-powered 4K televisions

After first showcasing the new Android TV-powered 4K TVs at CES earlier this year, Sony has now revealed the pricing and pre-order details of the televisions. The company is beginning the pre-orders for four models in a total of seven screen-sizes. All the four models will begin shipping next month. Nexus Player launches in Australia, priced at AUS$129

Google and Asus have launched the Nexus Player Android TV device in Australia. It has been priced at AUS$129 and will be available beginning April 28 in Dick Smith and JB Hi-Fi stores. The game controller will be offer separately at AUS$49.

Nexus Player is powered by 1.8GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor and packs 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. It support full HD output via HDMI port and includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
