In addition to the One M9+ and E9+ smartphones, HTC India also showcased the new Desire 326G phone today. According to the company, Desire 326G is an entry-level smartphone will go on sale in late-May in the country.
The company has not shared an official price-tag at this point, but we expect it to retail around INR 10,000.
“The Desire 326G dual sim is a great phone for everyday, we have created a classy and stylishly design smartphone with great features. It is made of strong polycarbonate material, and is designed to fit just nice in your hands. It is also comfortable to hold and featured packed at an incredible value, a phone for everyone,” said Faisal Siddiqui, President, HTC South Asia and India.
The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor. The phone also packs Android 4.4 with Sense Lite, dual-SIM card slots, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. You can check out the detailed specifications later in the report.
HTC has noted that Desire 326G will be available in White Birch and Black Onyx colours with all major retailers. The smartphone buyers will get to download unlimited music and videos from Hungama for a period of 3 months. They will also receive discounts worth INR 5,000 from Myntra.com.
