Lava Mobiles on Wednesday announced in a blog post that it has released the Android 5.0 update for iris Fuel 50 smartphone. The update is live over-the-air and can be triggered by going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
According to the company, the update brings several new features of the smartphone including material design changes, battery saver mode, enhanced notifications, built-in flashlight app, and performance improvements.

Lava launches iris 444 smartphone
In other Lava news, the company has quietly launched iris 444 smartphone in the Indian market. The phone is now on sale at Flipkart and ebay India with a price-tag of INR 3,199.
The smartphone features dual-SIM support, 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz processor and Android 4.4. Lava iris 444 also comes with 2MP rear camera, VGA front shooter, 256MB of RAM, and 512MB of on-board storage.
