As it starts rolling out One M9 in select markets across the globe, HTC has sent out invites for an event on April 8, where it will be announcing a variant of the smartphone in the form of One M9 Plus.
The press event is happening in Beijing, indicating that One M9 Plus could only be released in the Asian markets and not reach US or Europe.
HTC hasn’t shared any details about the phone so far, but rumours and leaks suggest that the M9 Plus will come with 5.2-inch Quad-HD display, MediaTek MT6795T octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and Android 5.0. The phone will also pack 20.7MP Duo rear camera wth dual-LED flash, Ultrapixel front shooter, and microSD card slot.
Here is a look at select leaked images of the phone as well as a hands on video of the M9 Plus dummy unit.
