Motorola earlier today introduced the new Moto E smartphone in the Indian market, but if you are waiting for the 4G variant, the company has stated that it is expecting to launch the 4G version in the next months. By conservative estimates, we hope to see the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G at Flipkart sometime in May.
“We expect to launch the 4G version of Moto E in India in the next two months,” Motorola India General Manager Amit Boni told PTI.
Motorola hasn’t revealed the pricing of the 4G version, but it is likely to be around INR 8999. For the extra INR 2K over the 3G version, you will be getting the more powerful 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, instead of Snapdragon 200. Other specifications of the Moto E 4G are same as the 3G version.
The smartphone will compete with the likes of Lenovo A6000, Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in the country.

Neat and ‘worth it’ device. LTE is the icing on the cake and being Motorola it has to be well built. Should be supported by LTE bands in India, the details of which should be clear in two months.
