HTC One (M8) in BLueHTC is reportedly planning to replace the One (M8) smartphone with a new One M8s smartphone in select (or possibly all) markets. Dutch website Tweakers.net has the confirmation that One M8s will be powered by Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and reach at least Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

Apart from the different processor and likely Android version bump to Android 5.0, there is no difference between One M8s and One (M8). HTC One M8s is likely to retail around 500 euros and was recently leaked as One M8i.

We are hoping to get more details, including an answer on whether the change is for all HTC markets, in the coming weeks.

To remind you, HTC One (M8) features a 5-inch full HD display, 2GB of RAM, Ultrapixel Duo camera on the back, 5MP front camera, NFC and 2600 mAh battery.

  1. The One is HTC’s second attempt at entering the ring and it’s just as impressive as its predecessor: it’s beautiful, battery efficient, fueled by all the latest hardware, and that UltraPixel camera still excels in areas that other camera phones have fallen short. And guys, we really, really like it.
