Samsung has added a new Grand-series mid-range Android smartphone to its portfolio in the country. The new Samsung Galaxy Grand Max smartphone will be exclusive to e-retailer Snapdeal.com. It has been priced at INR 15,990 and will be offered in White and Black colour options.
Originally unveiled in South Korea in January this year, Samsung Galaxy Grand Max sports a 5.2-inch 720p HD IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. The phone also comes with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and dual-SIM support. In addition, Samsung has included 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter, 2500 mAh battery and Android 4.4.4 with TouchWiz UX in the smartphone.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone features 3G support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
At the given price-tag, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max will be competing with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Yu Yureka, Moto G (2nd Gen) and Lenovo S850 in the country.
