Update: Samsung has now made the Galaxy A7 India launch official. The official price-tag is INR 30,499, as we had earlier reported.
Earlier: After launching the Galaxy A3, A5, E5, and E7 smartphones in India, Samsung has now quietly released the Galaxy A7 in the country. The smartphone is now available at the company’s e-store in the country as well as major physical retail stores.
Samsung has priced the phone at INR 30,499 and is currently being sold in White colour, however the company will also be offering Gold and Black colour options in the country.
Originally introduced last month, Samsung Galaxy A7 is the company’s thinnest smartphone till date with a 6.3mm thick chassis. The phone also features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. In addition, Samsung has included a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter, 2600 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and microSD card slot in the smartphone.
The Galaxy S7 runs on Android 4.4 and packs the company’s TouchWiz UX with enhancements like ultra power saving mode, changeable theme, private mode, and multi screen.
wow, what great pricing.. its great.. so cheap.. for so high specs..3049 only..oh wait…its 30499…. lol.. that much for these specs is looting..samedung continues to stink…

What a bummer of a price. They actually think people will buy at that price just because the crap about aluminum body. I guess someone is living in fool’s paradise. Of course the critics & journo’s who in India call a 25k phone as mid-range (I often wonder what their salaries is like or whether they actually buy the phones they use) will again go into raptures but most people will avoid it like plague. So its going to flop in India at that price.
