Lollipop update reaches SK Telecom’s Galaxy Note 4 & Sprint’s One (M8) units

Samsung Galaxy Note 4This is the Lollipop season and each day we are seeing more and more smartphones getting the much-awaited Android 5.0 update. After the Polish owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 were greeted with Lollipop update on Feb 11, it is the turn of South Korean users with SK Telecom variant of the smartphone.

According to SamMobile, Samsung has released the Android 5.0 update for SK Telecom variant of the Galaxy Note 4. The update, which carries build number N910SKSU1BOB4, is now available via Kies app and is expected to go live over-the-air (OTA) in the coming days.

In related news, after T-Mobile, HTC has moved to the Sprint’s variant of the One (M8) smartphone in the United States to roll-out the Android 5.0 update. It is now available over-the-air and can be manually triggered by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update.

Over 713MB in size, the update includes the same changes that we have seen for the phone in other markets – Lollipop-specific changes, improved Recent apps interface, and search function in settings.Lollipop update for Sprint HTC One M8
