Second-gen Moto E appears in a leaked press shot

2nd-gen Moto ELooks like we have the first alleged image of the upcoming Moto E successor. Shared by an anonymous tipster to Android Police, this image shows that Motorola is moving slightly away from the existing Moto E design.

The overall design of the Moto E (2nd Gen) is still very much in line with the current Motorola pattern, but the company seems to have switched from two front speakers to just one. The dual front speakers were introduced with Moto E last year and then included in the latest-generation of the Moto G smartphone.

Among other changes, Moto E (2nd Gen) seems to be packing a secondary noise-cancellation microphone and a front shooter.

There is still no word on the Moto E successor official announcement and as per a recent sighting at an UK retailer website, the phone will reportedly pack a 4.3-inch qHD display, quad-core processor, 4G LTE support and 5MP rear camera. The phone is also expected to come with 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 5.0.
