ZTE says 2014 profits doubled

In related news, ZTE has shared the preliminary financial results for 2014 and stated that the profits likely rose 94 percent last year to 2.64 billion yuan ($424.5 million), while the revenue grew 8 percent to 81.2 billion yuan.

As these are preliminary results, there could be some changes in the final numbers, but these give a decent idea of ZTE’s performance last year. The company has attributed the rise in profit to 4G network division and smartphone business.
