HTC has starting sending invites to the tech press around the world for its next flagship smartphone announcement. As per invite, the event will be happening on March 1 in Barcelona, just a day before the official opening of the Mobile World Congress 2015.

The HTC invite doesn’t reveal anything about the product and is pretty cryptic with its “utopia in progress” title, however as per rumours, HTC’s next flagship smartphone, which is codenamed Hima, will come with a 5-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and Android 5.0 with Sense 7.0.

The phone will also pack 20.7MP rear camera and a 13MP front shooter. Other details are a mystery at this point. HTC “Hima” will be succeeding One (M8) smartphone, but is unlikely to be called One (M9) as a few reports indicate that HTC is planning to ditch the One branding.
