Looks like Motorola isn’t the only one ready to roll-out Android 5.0 for one of its smartphones, even LG has announced that it will roll-out Android 5.0 update for G3 beginning next week (week starting November 10).
The company has stated that G3 owners in Poland will be the first to receive the update, followed by the consumers in other markets.
“LG is absolutely committed to giving our customers the best mobile experiences available and bringing Android Lollipop to G3 owners as soon as possible is a top priority. The new features and improvements in Android 5.0 will bring a whole new user experience to the G3 and make it even better than it already is,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
LG has not shared the G3 specific change-log at this point but notes that the update will bring the usual Lollipop features like new material design, improved notifications, smart lock, ART as default runtime battery improvements and more.
In addition, LG has revealed that it will be announcing details about the Android 5.0 roll-out for other phones in the coming weeks.
