One of the first Android Wear smartwatches to hit the Indian market – LG G Watch – has received a price-cut in the country. The smartwatch is now retailing at more than half of its original price-tag (INR 14,999) at e-retailer Snapdeal. There is no word on whether it is an official price-cut or a reduction from the e-retailer, however the companies rarely announce the price-reductions, so we are unlikely to hear anything official from LG India.
You can now head over to Snapdeal to grab the LG G Watch at INR 6,999, which is a steal. The LG G Watch is comparable to any other Android Wear smartwatch currently available in the market. The device packs top of the line specifications, however lacks on the aesthetic front when compared to other smartwatches like Moto 360 and even LG’s own G Watch R.
To remind you, LG G Watch sports 1.65-inch IPS LCD with 280x280p resolution and comes with 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 400 mAh battery and dust/water resistance.
In related news, LG has announced that it is starting the global sales roll-out of the G Watch R with Europe in early-November and the Asian countries will get the device soon after that.
Ordered one…its a steal deal.
