As we had earlier reported, Chinese manufacturer Lenovo on Thursday announced the launch of its new Yoga Tablet 2-series, which includes tablets like Yoga Tablet 2 8-inch, Yoga Tablet 2 10-inch and Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, in the Indian market.

Originally unveiled just a week ago in the UK, the Yoga Tablet 2-series is powered by Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2. The tablets also come with 8MP rear camera, 1.6MP front camera, 2GB of RAM, microSD card slot, 3G connectivity and voice-calling support. In addition, the tablets pack front-facing dual-speakers and the 13.3-inch Yoga Tablet 2 Pro includes a 50-inch pico-projector and JBL sub-woofer.

Availability and pricing:

According to Lenovo, it has partnered with e-retailer Flipkart to exclusively sell these devices in India, where the new Yoga Tablet 2 8-inch tablet will be available starting October 17, followed by Yoga Tablet 2 10.1-inch in mid-November and Yoga Tablet 2 Pro in November-end.
