Huawei unveils Honor Holly for INR 6,999 in India

Huawei Honor HollyAfter first showcasing the Honor Holly smartphone at the Honor 6 launch, Chinese smartphone maker Huawei on Tuesday officially introduced the phone for the Indian market. Part of the entry-level segment, the new Honor Holly has been priced at INR 6,999 and will go on sale beginning October 16.

Coming to the specifications, Huawei Holly features a 5-inch 720p HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 8MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter and 2000 mAh battery.

In addition, Huawei has included 3G connectivity, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, and dual-SIM support on Holly. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 4.4.2 with Emotion UI.

At the given price-tag, the Huawei Holly will be competing with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Asus Zenfone 4.5, Moto E and the Android One smartphones.

  1. Internal memory is a Big plus here. Sure its better than Asus and Moto e but with Snapdragon processor, good camera and a lower price Redmi 1s still looks better on paper. But sure this mobile is gonna sell well for Huawei.


    • Just read an article now saying it uses Huawei made ‘Kirin’ processor. If thats the one used, dont know how quick the future updates are gonna be. Have to wait for benchmark results to know its performance.


  2. only minus is gpu..but is this price range this is the best…with kitkat 16gb rom and otp screen it is sure better offering than redmi 1s..
