Samsung Galaxy Note 4 South-East Asia roll-out begins on Oct 11

Samsung Galaxy Note 4Samsung on Wednesday revealed at a press event in Singapore that it will begin the sales roll-out of the new Galaxy Note 4 smartphone on October 11 in the South-East Asia. According to the company, Singapore will be the first market to get the phone in the region on October 11, followed by Thailand on October 13, Myanmar on October 15, Cambodia on October 17, Vietnam on October 24, and Laos, Indonesia & Philippines on October 25.

The company has also announced that pre-orders for Note 4 will start in Singapore tomorrow i.e. October 2. Samsung is releasing the LTE-Advanced variant of the phone in the country (other countries will get 3G or 4G version depending on network support), which will retail for S$1,088. Pricing for other markets is unclear but it will be shared by the local arms of the company in the coming days.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 5 Octa processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 16MP rear camera and Android 4.4.4.

India launch expected on October 10

Looks like we finally have some indication of the Galaxy Note 4 release date in the Indian market. As per a Galaxy Note 4 marketing event schedule shared by Samsung on its official Facebook page, the phone will be launched on October 10 in the country. We are still waiting for an official confirmation from Samsung India but the date seems about right, as the phone is being released in South-East Asia around the same time.
