Samsung is getting ready to introduce a new Galaxy Grand-series smartphone in the country, revealed Mumbai-based mobile phone retailer Mahesh Telecom. Dubbed as Galaxy Grand Prime, the smartphone was recently seen at a Vietnamese retailer and is expected to arrive in India this week.
Set to be targeted to the selfie-lovers in the country, the Grand Prime sports a wide-angle 5MP front shooter. Among other specifications, the phone will come with 5-inch qHD display, 2600 mAh battery, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.4.
Samsung has also included 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and 8MP rear camera on the Grand Prime. In addition, the smartphone is said to be packing support for 15 regional languages as well as Samsung’s usual software customisations.
The exact pricing is unconfirmed but Mahesh Telecom notes that the phone will get a maximum retail price of INR 16,000 with a best buy price around INR 15,250.
