Will reach 140 countries by October-end
Samsung has announced that it is ready to release Galaxy Note 4 in South Korea. The phone will go on sale in the country on September 26. The company also stated that the smartphone will be rolled-out to 140 markets around the world by October-end.
“As the originator of the Note category, Samsung takes immense pride and responsibility. Galaxy Note 4, which maximizes the usability of the large screen and S Pen, will take mobile user experience to a whole new level,” said DJ Lee, President and Head of Sales & Marketing of the IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Mobile.
The Note 4 was originally showcased at IFA trade fair earlier this month and succeeds the company’s Note 3 smartphone. It features a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and comes with Exynos 5 Octa/ Snapdragon 805 processor, Android 4.4, 16MP rear camera and 3.7MP front camera.
India release date of the Note 4 is still unclear, although it is possible that we might learn some details on September 27, when Samsung India is hosting a press event to launch the Galaxy Alpha.
