Micromax and Opera have announced that they have renewed their partnership to pre-install Opera Mini browser on Micromax Android devices for an unspecified time. The companies had originally entered into an agreement last year and since then, Opera Mini has been pre-installed on over 50 Android phones and tablets from Micromax.

To remind you, Opera Mini browser from Opera includes features like Smart Page notifications, Speed Dial website shortcuts, download manager, password manager, visual tabs, saved webpages for offline viewing as well as cloud-compression of webpages. According to opera, Mini compresses webpages to as little as 10% of their original size before sending them to the smartphones, thus helping the consumers in saving data costs.
