Indian smartphone vendor Lava on Wednesday unveiled five new Android smartphones in the country. Part of the company’s IRIS-series, the new phones are IRIS 404 Flair, IRIS 400s, IRIS 250, IRIS 410 and IRIS 400 Colours. The smartphones have been priced between INR 4,000 and INR 6,000, however the company has not revealed the individual pricing of each product. We hope to get that cleared up as the smartphones start going on sale.

“Given that bulk of the market is still driven by feature phones, through these values for money products, we aim to help the consumer upgrade to smartphone and realize the power of internet. These smartphones offer an enhanced browsing experience and also takes care of the entertainment/ connectivity needs of a customer who is upgrading to an entry level smartphone,” said Navin Chawla, Vice President and Head, Product Lava International Ltd.

The smartphones will be available in the coming days.
