Two weeks after announcing that Indonesia is going to be the next market for Xiaomi, the company has unveiled its first smartphone for the market. The company is releasing Redmi 1S in the country, which will go on sale beginning September 4 for 1,499,000 rupiyah ($128).
The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Lazada in the market, which has already started taking registrations for the phone. The registrations will continue until September 3. If you wish you purchase Redmi 1S, head over to this link to register for the sale.
To remind you, Redmi 1S features a 4.7-inch HD display, 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The phone also comes with microSD card slot, dual-SIM support, 8MP rear camera and 1.6MP front shooter. In addition, Xiaomi has included 2000 mAh battery, 3G, Wi-Fi and other usual connectivity options on the smartphone.
