Looks like India will be among the first wave of counties getting the upcoming Motorola smartphones. Motorola India has sent out invites for a press event in New Delhi on September 5, which will be happening just hours after Motorola’s Chicago event, and it is expected to unveil new smartphones like X+1 and G2.
No details are available right now but with September 5 just over a fortnight away, we won’t have to wait for long. It is also possible that we could get to know the India release details of the Moto 360 smartwatch on the same day.
To remind you, Moto X+1 is the upcoming successor to Moto X smartphone and is rumoured to feature a 5.2-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4.4, 12MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
On the other hand, Moto G2 (or whatever the final branding is) is going to replace the Moto G and is expected to come with 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 400, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and Android 4.4.4.
As always, we will bring you all the details from the press event.
Looking forward!
