Feeling the brunt of Xiaomi Mi 3 as well as Asus Zenfone-series launch, Indian smartphone vendor Karbonn has decided to reduce the prices of its Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane Plus smartphones in the country.
As per a press note issued by the company, the Titanium Octane will be available for INR 11,990 (down INR 2.5K) and Octane Plus will retail for INR 13,990 (down INR 4K). These prices, however, seems to be only applicable to Snapdeal.com as a part of some exclusive partnership between the two firms.
“The new Karbonn Titanium Octane comes packed with features and is being launched at a lucrative price point as well. The launch of this product on Snapdeal.com is in line with our motto of offering our customers with the highest quality of products at best prices. We are happy to have partnered with Karbonn Mobiles to have exclusively launched their latest product offering on the site. We look forward to a long term and mutually beneficial relationship,” said Tony Navin, Senior VP, Electronics & Home, Snapdeal.
To remind you, Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus features a 5-inch FHD display, 1.7GHz Mediatek octa-core processor, 16MP rear camera and 2000 mAh battery. Karbonn has also included 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 8MP front camera on Octane Plus. On the other hand, Titanium Octane sports a 5-inch 720p HD display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot. Like Octane Plus, Octane too is powered by 1.7GHz Mediatek octa-core processor.
