Mi 3 gets MIUI KXDMIBF22.0 update as the phone goes back on sale today

Xiaomi has started rolling out a new software update for the Mi 3 smartphone as it puts the smartphone for the third flash sale today in the Indian market. Carrying the version number MIUI KXDMIBF22.0, the update is now available over-the-air. In addition to India, the update is also live in countries like Malaysia and Philippines.

The update is 591MB in size and includes mostly bug-fixes, although there is a new “Resend all’ function in Outbox of Mail app. You can check out the full change-log later in the report.

Your Mi 3 will automatically notify you of the update, however you can also manually look for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > System updates or by going directly to the Updater app.

Coming to the Mi 3 flash sale at Flipkart today, Xiaomi is offering a total of 15,000 units of the smartphone and the sale will begin at 2:00PM. Make sure to get logged-in the Flipkart website well before 2PM and keep the Mi 3 product page open. As soon as the clock shows 2PM, the timer will end and Buy Now button will appear. As the stock is likely to run out in a matter of seconds, add the phone to your cart as fast as possible.
