HTC is hosting a press event in New Delhi on July 11 to launch new smartphones in the country. While the invites do not indicate at any particular smartphone, we are expecting the release of the recently announced mid-range Desire 616 as well as One E8.
HTC One E8, which is also known as the plastic variant of One M8, will be joining the company in high-end segment. The smartphone comes with the same specifications as One M8 apart from some differences like the presence of 13MP rear camera instead of Duo camera as well as the lack of IR blaster.
On the other hand, Desire 616 features 5-inch 720p HD display, 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, 2000 mAh battery and dual-SIM support. The phone also packs 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 4GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot. It will be bridging the gap between Desire 516 and 816 smartphones in the company’s portfolio in India.
There is no word on the pricing on pricing of either of the phones but we won’t have to wait for long to get the official details.

if htc keeps its pricing for one e8 near about 20k will go with it rather than xiaomi 🙂 otherwise have to go with XIaOMI mi3
