HTC on Wednesday announced the launch of the dual-SIM version of HTC One (M8) smartphone. The phone keeps the same features as the single-SIM version but adds a second SIM card slot.
The dual-SIM version buyers will get the same specifications – 5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Duo camera on rear, 5MP front camera, 2600 mAh battery and Android 4.4 with Sense 6.0.
According to HTC, the One (M8) Dual SIM will go on sale next week in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in Gunmetal Grey colour option. The German and Austrian buyers will have to shell out 799 euros for the phone, while Swiss users will get the phone for 679 Swiss Francs.
The company has also stated that the phone will be available at Media Mark and Saturn stores in Germany, while the other two markets will be able to grab the phone from all major retailers.
There is no word on the release in other markets but we expect to see the phone in Asian market like India, where dual-SIM smartphones are quite popular.
