LG India is getting ready to introduce its second 4G-LTE smartphone in the country. The new F70 D315K will come with support for TD-LTE network, which is currently used by Airtel 4G, the only LTE network in the Indian market right now.
LG F70 features 4.5-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, and 1GB of RAM. The phone also packs 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.
The F70 runs on Android 4.4 and includes LG’s software customisations like Knock Code.
As per the company website, the smartphone will carry a price-tag of INR 19,500, which is clearly on the upside for a phone that packs the specifications worse than Moto G and has no special features apart from 4G LTE support.
There is no word on the exact availability of the phone but we expect to see an official announcement in the coming weeks.
To remind you, LG already retails 4G-enbaled G2 in the country, which also packs TD-LTE support.
